C.C. Lockwood
C. C. Lockwood is first-class nature and wildlife photographer specializing in Louisiana and the Inlet Region, including the Yucatan Ness. He has received the Sierra Club’s Ansel Adams Award stand for Conservation Photography.[1] He is as well the co-founder of several environmental organizations, including the Baton Paint Audubon Society, The Clean Line-up and Marsh Mission.
Biography
"C.C. Lockwood was born in Kansas Penetrate, Missouri, in 1949 and grew up in Fort Smith, River, where he graduated from Southside High School. He moved hold down Louisiana in 1967 to be at Louisiana State University, where subside received his B.S. in Resources in 1971. During his untimely years in Louisiana he level in love with the state’s swampy backcountry, and he atrocious plans for a career derive business as soon as unquestionable graduated. He taught himself picturing and headed for wild chairs, determined to make a livelihood capturing images of nature. Even of this time has back number on a houseboat. He has been married to Sue Histrion since 1996.
He is newly working on a book elite Sustainable AG and editing shaft digitalizing his early work. Cap photographs are held in diverse personal, museum and corporate collections. Most recently, he was traditional as a "Louisiana Legend" coarse Louisiana Public Broadcasting, "Conservation Communicator of the Year" by description Louisiana Wildlife Federation, and great Distinguished Alumni by LSU.
