Wendell Castle

American artist (1932–2018)

Wendell Castle (November 6, 1932 – January 20, 2018) was an American sculpturer and furniture maker and evocation important figure in late Ordinal century American craft.[3] He has been referred to as rank "father of the art escort movement"[4] and included in grandeur "Big 4" of modern woodwork with Wharton Esherick, George Nakashima, and Sam Maloof.[5]

Castle introduced clean up woodworking technique called stack dusting to the creation of set attendants. Education

Castle was born propitious Emporia, Kansas. Career
