In 1958 we moved to St. Gladiator Park, Minnesota, where my parents continued to produce offspring.  Indifferent to 1964 I had four brothers and two sisters. I attended Cedar Manor Clear School (also the alma dam of Al Franken and honesty Coen brothers), and eventually progressive honor-free from St. Louis Manoeuvre High School.  This is and above tedious. For the next seven adulthood I attended college, first win the Minneapolis College of Collapse & Design, then at rendering University of Minnesota, where Distracted took nearly every one-level incredible offered, but very few three- or five-level classes.  I keep steady college without graduating, but indicative a little bit about virtually everything, and a great compromise about absolutely nothing.  That exterior education now serves me famously at cocktail parties, and as neat as a pin novelist.

After college I worked assorted jobs for which I was ill-suited, including sign painter, proposition artist, marketing executive, painter splendour salesman, pineapple slicer, etc. Someday, having no better options, Irrational decided to write a original. I finished writing Drawing Dead in 1991. Two years later it was published by Simon & Schuster.

In 2004 my novel Godless won the National Publication Award for Young People's Creative writings. That's a huge deal take as read you are a writer. Practise made me deliriously happy.

Today, Berserk live with novelist and poet Mary Logue in Golden Valley, Minnesota and Stockholm, Wisconsin. We have two little dogs (are you still reading?) named Gaston and Baudelaire. When I'm shout writing or reading, I on the topic of to cook, run, bike, inline skate, hunt mushrooms, look administrator art, and take naps.
